Any financial or household information collected will only be used to calculate possible SNAP eligibility and will not be saved. Some non-identifying data will be saved temporarily in order to evaluate the effectiveness of this tool.
During this Pre-Screening interview you will need to provide information on topics such as demographics, family/household members and living arrangements, earned income, unearned income, assets, motor vehicles, housing expenses such as rent/mortgage, utilities and taxes, adult and child care, child support and medical expenses. A brief optional survey at the end of the interview will also collect information regarding this Pre-Screening Tool.
The amount you actually receive may be different from the amount estimated in the pre-screening tool. Only your local SNAP office can determine your actual eligibility and the amount of SNAP benefits, if any, you will receive.
You may be able to get expedited SNAP benefits (no later than seven days after you complete your application) if:
